Blocked celiac/mesenteric artery with postprandial abdominal pain
Abdominal pain after eating solid or semi-solid food is suggestive for intestinal ischemia angina. This is more common in heavy smoker and chronic diabetic patients. It is caused by blocked celiac / mesenteric artery. Patient often has cachexia, weight loss and anorexia. CT angiogram or conventional angiogram should confirm the diagnosis.
